This is a limited warranty. Read it before you buy — that is why it is published here rather than handed over afterwards.
1. Who gives this warranty
Bedrock Water LLC, trading as Bedrock Water, serving Northeast Ohio. Contact details are in section 7.
2. Who is covered
The original purchaser of the system, at the address where it was installed. This warranty does not transfer to a later owner of the property, and it does not follow the equipment if it is moved to another address.
3. What is covered, and for how long
Each period below runs from the date installation is completed, as recorded on your Installation Completion & Sign-Off form. "Lifetime" means for as long as the original purchaser owns the system at the installed address, and nothing longer.
| Part | Period |
|---|---|
| Ceramic discs (rotary valves) | Lifetime |
| Storage tanks | Lifetime |
| Media tanks | Lifetime |
| System dry parts | Lifetime |
| Control valves | 5 years |
| Filtration media | 5 years |
| Circuit board | 5 years |
| Reverse osmosis systems | 1 year |
| Installation labor | 1 year |
Cover is against defects in materials and workmanship under normal operating conditions.
4. What we will do, and at whose cost
If a covered part proves defective within its period, we will repair or replace it, at our option, with a new or equivalent part. The part itself is supplied at no charge to you.
Labor to install a replacement part is covered for one year from the date installation is completed. After that first year the part is still covered on the schedule above, but the labor to fit it is charged at our normal rate. A replacement part carries the remainder of the original period — it does not start a new one.
5. What you must do
Call us before anyone else works on the system. Unauthorized repair voids cover on the affected part. Keep the system installed, operated and maintained the way it was set up, which includes keeping salt in the salt tank and changing filters on schedule. Replacement parts must be fitted by us or by someone we approve.
6. What is not covered
- Misuse, abuse, neglect or accident.
- Improper installation, or repairs and alterations we did not authorize.
- Acts of nature, including flooding and freezing.
- Water conditions that foul or exhaust filters, resin or a membrane, including conditions outside the range the system was sized for.
- Modifications to the system that we did not make or approve.
- Routine maintenance items and consumables, including salt.
- Pre-existing plumbing defects, and correcting code violations not within the quoted scope.
7. How to make a claim
Call (330) 249-7877 or email info@bedrockwaterco.com. Tell us what the system is doing and roughly when it started. We will talk it through first, because more often than you would expect the cause is a setting rather than a failed part.
If it is a part, we deal with the manufacturer on your behalf. You do not have to make a claim to them yourself. Keep your Installation Completion & Sign-Off form. It shows the date the periods above run from.
8. Limit on implied warranties
Any implied warranty, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is limited to the duration of the applicable written warranty period set out in section 3.
Some States do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
9. Limit on damages
Our total liability under this warranty is limited to the original purchase price of the system. We are not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including water damage, loss of use, or damage to other property.
Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
10. Your other rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from State to State.
Nothing in this warranty affects your separate right to cancel a home solicitation sale under Ohio law. That right, and the notice of it, come with your sale documents rather than with this warranty.
A plain-language summary of these terms, including what is and is not covered, is on the warranty page. Where the summary and this statement differ, this statement governs.
