What a well water system fixes in Geauga, Portage and Medina
Well problems show up together. That’s why the fix comes in stages, one for each thing your water is doing.
Rust stains and black specks
Orange stains show up in the tub and the toilet, and black specks show up in the sink. It’s the well, not your cleaning.
Rotten egg smell
It hits you the moment you run the tap, and it doesn’t wash out. The first stage takes it out.
White crust too
Well water usually leaves white crust on your faucets, on top of everything else. A softener handles that part.
A well system in two stages
The first stage takes out what stains your tub and your sink, and the smell that comes with it. It cleans itself, with no chemicals to buy and none to refill. The second stage is a softener, sized from your test, and it takes care of the white crust.
- A lab, not a field kit — arsenic, bacteria and nitrate take a lab certified by Ohio EPA. Not ours, not anyone’s.
- Every well is different — we start from your own results, never from a county average.

Your well, the pressure tank, then the two tanks that clean the water.

Common questions
What about arsenic in my well?
Only a lab test can tell you. If your report calls for it, we add arsenic reduction or UV. If it doesn’t, you don’t pay for it.
Does the system need chemicals?
No. Not for the filter stage. You’ll buy salt for the softener, and that’s the only thing you ever top up.
What if this costs more than I want to spend?
Then buy less of it. A well system is several pieces of equipment working together, and plenty of wells need only one of them. Your test decides which. We would rather sell you the one piece you need than the whole set you don’t.
Who installs it?
Installed by a licensed professional.
Your well isn’t your neighbor’s well.
Test it first. We size the system from what comes back.
