What this fixes at your kitchen tap
The water you drink and cook with is the best place to start. Treating one tap costs far less than treating the whole house.
Water that tastes off
Much of what’s dissolved in your water goes out. A jug filter leaves most of it in.
Cloudy ice, filmy coffee
What’s in the water shows up in everything you make with it. Ice, coffee, soup.
Cases of bottled water
The tap gets its own faucet for drinking water. No more hauling cases home.
What goes under your sink
Reverse osmosis is a filter that pushes water through a tight screen. We call it the RO for short. It treats the water you drink and cook with. Nothing else in the house changes.
- A system is only certified for what it was tested for— ours under NSF/ANSI 58, which covers what the standard covers and nothing more.
- Ask to see the certificate — on any system you’re shown. Ours included.
- Where we work — Cuyahoga, Summit, Portage, Medina, Lake and Geauga County, going by what we measure at your house, not a county average.
- The evidence — what the free test checks, lead in Cleveland, byproducts in Akron, and wells in Geauga and Portage, Medina and Lake.
It all fits in the sink cabinet: filters, a tank, and its own faucet.
Common questions
Does everyone need reverse osmosis?
No. If there isn’t much dissolved in your water, we’ll say so. You keep your money. The test decides, not the pitch. If you already own a system, ask us to service that instead.
Does it treat the whole house?
No, and it isn’t meant to. The RO treats one tap. Chalky buildup, water that tastes like a pool, rust stains — those need the whole house. Or nothing at all, if your test comes back fine.
How do I know it’s working?
We test the water at your tap before we leave. Bedrock Care checks it again each year, against those first numbers. If it slips, we catch it.
What maintenance does it take?
Filter changes, on a set schedule. How often depends on the stage — some run months, some run years. Bedrock Care can do the remembering.
Who installs it?
