What the Bedrock Care service plan covers in Akron and Northeast Ohio
Four things, on a schedule you don’t have to keep. We set the plan up on install day. You can also buy any one as a single visit, quoted before we come out.
Yearly checkup and retest
We test the water again and set the new numbers beside the ones from install day. Any change shows up as a number, not a surprise.
RO filter changes
We change the pre-filter and post-filter as they come due, and we bring them with us. A new membrane is extra, priced first.
Salt checks
We track how fast you use it, so the tank gets topped up before it runs dry. You don’t get a week of hard water first.
Front of the line
When something breaks, plan members get the first open slot.
Including systems we didn’t sell
Most home systems run on a standard Fleck or Clack valve. Anyone can look up the parts and read the settings, so any good tech can service one. That’s why we choose them. A plan on someone else’s system is a real offer, not a way in the door.
- Whoever put it in — if your softener or reverse osmosis system runs on a standard valve, it can go on the plan.
- Some heads are closed — we can’t get parts for those, and we tell you before we take the job, not after.
- Where we run it — Akron and the rest of Summit County, plus Cuyahoga, Portage, Medina, Lake and Geauga.
- Your own numbers — your schedule comes from your system, not a county average. The yearly retest is the test we run free the first time.
The valve, the tank and the salt: the parts a plan keeps on schedule.
How the year runs
The plan is a calendar. Three clocks run on it. Not one of them is yours to watch.
Salt runs on a route
We fill salt on a set route. The date sits on our calendar, not on the day you notice the water changed.
Filters run on stages
The RO has a pre-filter, a post-filter, and a membrane. Each one lasts a different length of time. Some last months. Some last years.
Wells run on the season
Well water changes with the rain and the seasons, so one test is never the last word. That’s why the retest is yearly.
Common questions
When does the plan start?
On install day, with the rest of the paperwork. The first yearly retest comes a year later.
Do I have to take it?
No. It’s optional on every install, and per-visit service exists without it.
Will you service a system you didn’t sell?
Yes, as long as it runs on a standard valve. Most of them do. We look at the valve first, and we quote the visit before we come out.
Who does the service work?
Installed by a licensed professional.
Your system won’t service itself.
